Join our end-of-year celebration for our Great Lakes Taiko Center (GLTC) community of collective members, family and friends, community partners and supporters. We welcome neighborhood and local community members to join us as well to come Drum, Dance and Dream with us!

Our Taiko Arts Collective will be sharing performances that reflect the work and play of our Learning Circles and Performance Groups this Fall 2024 season along with glimpses of our dreams for the new year 2025.

One year ago, Senior Vocationists PJ and Roy Hirabayashi celebrated 50 years of playing taiko by presenting "The Race for Free Spirit: A 50-Year Uprising" to a sold-out audience in San Jose, CA. This Saturday, we are honored to feature the show in its entirety at our next Watch Party. The excitement will continue throughout the following week, with a unique social media challenge. Finally, we will end our series with a follow-up discussion led by Roy and PJ. Join us for these free virtual community gatherings in celebration of two of our taiko community pioneers!
